Founded by Peter Walkden and Trisha Walkden, the site focuses on thoughtful film criticism, collector culture, and informed discussion around cinema beyond the screen.
Peter Walkden is the site’s lead critic and primary writer, responsible for reviews, interviews, and feature content. Trisha Walkden is also an editor on the site, contributing reviews and supporting the direction of ongoing content.
Alongside his work on Walkden Entertainment, Peter operates Walkden Publicity, a separate film publicity business that has worked across more than 50 titles in Australia and New Zealand, including Hundreds of Beavers, Street Trash, Welcome to the Darkness, and others. This experience provides industry insight while Walkden Entertainment remains independent in its reviews and opinions.

Hi, I’m Peter Walkden — film reviewer, collector, and founder of Walkden Entertainment.
Peter’s passion for cinema began with a love of drama and acting, developing further during his teenage years while working at a local Video Ezy store, surrounded by rows of VHS tapes. That early exposure to film across genres and formats sparked a lifelong appreciation for physical media and the way movies are discovered, collected, and revisited.
