In 1987 we watched (and loved) Arnold Schwarzenegger leading an elite group into the jungle to fight an unknown Predator.
Years later (29 to be exact) I introduce “Kill Command”! Set in the future, an elite unit is taken to a training facility on a remote island. Needless to say, this island is off the grid!
The team prep and setup to do simply another training session which they are keen to complete and go home.
We see our characters prove themselves and display skill, taking out basic targets until overnight the tables turn…
The elite team are now being hunted by an enemy intelligence! To top it off we have an enemy that can learn your every move!
Needless to say with a movie title in 2016 called “Kill Command” that this is a B Grade film. The actors an unknown and the sound effects are repeated (seriously the same owl calls many times lol) but the biggest surprise is that this film amazed me.
Kill Command is a very basic sci-fi film done right and I loved how the film itself knew that from the start.
The action was fun and even the audio mix of gunfire takes low budget action films to a new level. Kill Command is a basic, brainless sci-fi action film and sometimes this type of film is just want the Movie Doctor recommends!
6.7/10
